มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ นายเคนชิน มิตซูชิมะ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬาและสุขภาพ สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ ที่สร้างผลงานยอดเยี่ยมในระดับนานาชาติ จากการแข่งขัน IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney ณ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย โดยทำเวลารวม 3 ชั่วโมง 53 นาที 39 วินาที คว้าอันดับ Overall 2 ซึ่งถือเป็นสถิติส่วนตัวใหม่ในต้นปีนี้ที่สามารถทำเวลาต่ำกว่า 4 ชั่วโมงได้สำเร็จ

ผลการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ยังส่งผลให้เคนชินได้รับ Ironman Pro License ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้เขาก้าวขึ้นสู่การแข่งขันในระดับนักกีฬาอาชีพอย่างเต็มตัวในเวทีระดับโลกต่อไป

นอกจากความสำเร็จในสนามแข่งแล้ว ปัจจุบันเคนชินยังได้รับ ทุนพัฒนาอาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และมีกำหนดสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทในปีนี้ โดยหลังสำเร็จการศึกษาแล้ว เขาจะเข้าร่วมเป็น บุคลากรสายวิชาการ ในสังกัดสำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬาและสุขภาพ เพื่อร่วมผลิตบัณฑิตคุณภาพด้านวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬาและสุขภาพให้แก่มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงต่อไปในอนาคต

MFU Celebrates Kenshin Mitsushima’s 2nd Overall  Finish at IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney and Pro License Achievement

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Kenshin Mitsushima, a Master's student in Sports Science and Health at the School of Health Science, for his remarkable achievement at IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney, Australia. 
Competing in this rigorous half-triathlon—which demands a 1.9km swim, a 90km cycle, and a 21.1km run—Kenshin secured 2nd place overall with a combined time of 3:53:39, marking a new personal best and successfully breaking the elite 4-hour barrier.

This outstanding result has earned Kenshin an Ironman Pro License, prestigious credential that marks his official transition from a top-tier amateur to a professional athlete on the world stage.

Beyond his athletic success, Kenshin is currently a recipient of the MFU Faculty Development Scholarship and is set to complete his Master's degree this year. Upon graduation, he will join MFU as a faculty member in the Sports Science and Health program, where he will apply his world-class experience to help develop the next generation of sports science professionals.
